Tuesday was grand.  I sat at home practicing the ukelele, read, made breakfast and lunch, and then headed out to see a Texan perform that evening.  Was then treated to awesome tacos at Snack Dragon – YUM. Thanks, homie!

Next thing you know, I somehow got swept up by NYU MBA students and started drinking with them.  Cheers to new friends.

A fine night.

Knocking out my list one at a time.

7:30a: Alarm goes off

8:00a: get ready

8:30a: Walk to Grand Central Station and enjoyed everyone in the rat race.

8:45a: Woops, I gotta pick up my coffee from Starbucks.  By the way, I use my own cup as it is cheaper.  Also, please not that Oren’s Coffee is cheaper than starbucks…but we all kinda knew that.

9-10:30a: Taunt others. Jk. I just people watched and basked in my own glory. No  biggie.

I then proceeded to walk home to notice an amazing sign that said I would have no water tomorrow from 9:30a-7p.  That was my karma for taking pleasure in other people’s misery. I deserved it, but damn it felt good.  I just need to remember to fill the bathtub tomorrow so I can flush down my piss during the day when I’m home.

11a: I just read my book and made myself Breakfast in Bed!

1ishp: Met a friend up for a late breakfast and ate a piece of cake from Bagel Cafe

1:30p: Walked to Birch Coffee with my friend and read our books.

2:30p: Gotta go to the acupuncturist

4p: Done with my session and walked home to only pick up my ukelele.  I learned the 4 chords to “Hey Ya” by Outkast.  HOWEVER, I still need to remember the lyrics and am trying to not look down at my ukelele.

5ishp: Watched Real Housewives of New Jersey

6p: Headed to the train

6:45p: Pace University

7:10p: Community Board Panelists speak on grassroots duties.  Attendees included: 7 sharp dressed guys in law school or something that requires you to look good (finance?), 1 granola nature lover guy who talked a bit much, 1 newbie who happened to be left handed and bites his nails like me, and 2 sweet ladies who hosted the event. I guess since they’re hosting it they don’t count? So 9 males who actually wanted to be there and then me. Er.

8:30p: Headed home.

9p+: TV time, eat, shower, and retreat to my room to continue my funemployment!

So as I got closer to the train and saw the doors shutting I dashed to make it in and stuck my foot in between the doors, very similar to what I do to all the elevator doors in the city, and let myself in.  I soon found out that subway doors are not motion sensored like elevator doors and I was stuck prying the doors open like Superman only to have it close on me again while I was only HALFWAY in the car.  Hence the bruise on my arm.

A few guys got up from their seats to try to pull me in…but it’s all good, I didn’t need the help, I pried the doors open once again and made a mad dash to the other end of the car because I was so embarrassed.

#2 – I Learned that…very similar to Asian people, fire hydrants don’t all look alike and bruised my shin as I made my way into the building.
